The idea: Here at Whipp'r Designs, my goal is to create limited "lines" or "drops" based on the materials I can source at the moment. I make sure to obtain quality materials that are all either secondhand, thrifted, deadstock, or recycled. I then design products taking inspiration from the materials themselves, where they were sourced from, and the environment around me. I hope you enjoy!

The origin: I had been dreaming of starting a business that recycles fabrics into fun clothing for a long time. I grew up sewing with my mom, and always had so much fun creating new articles of clothing utilizing clothes that I got from the local Salvation Army. Using a sewing machine, serger machine, vinyl cutting machine, and heat press, I am able to transform my art into wearables! With the equipment and skills I needed to create quality clothing under my belt, I launched Whipp'r Designs.

The name: Whipp'r is a spin off of a few things I like. Whip-poor-wills are really neat birds. "Whipper" is a term for when you take a fall while rock climbing (don't really love the actual whipper per se, but rock climbing is fun!). Whippersnappers are a fun thing to call the youths because old people are funny and young people are funny and we're all just being silly and trying our best and being people. So there you have it, it doesn't really make sense, but I like it.
